Youth Community Building Fellowship

🕒 Deadline: April 7 2026

The Youth Community Building Fellowship reflects GYBN’s mission to create a strong, connected, and inclusive global youth movement working towards biodiversity conservation and environmental justice. The fellowship brings together young leaders from diverse regions, cultures, and backgrounds to strengthen collaboration and collective action.

Through this program, participants engage in community-building processes that prioritize trust, inclusion, and shared learning. GYBN’s model emphasizes the importance of safe and enabling spaces where youth can exchange perspectives, co-create initiatives, and support each other in advancing biodiversity action.

The fellowship also focuses on strengthening grassroots connections by supporting youth-led initiatives and encouraging collaboration across local and regional networks. Participants learn how to organize community dialogues, facilitate inclusive processes, and build partnerships that amplify impact.

As a result, fellows become key actors in expanding GYBN’s network, fostering solidarity across regions, and ensuring that youth voices are collectively represented in biodiversity discussions and actions worldwide.
